Meet Our Nuclear Medicine consultant
Dr HEMANT RAUNDALE
Dr Hemant did his MBBS from IGGMC, Nagpur and after that he did his MD in Nuclear medicine from the prestigious Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. In addition, he has had the first-hand experience in this field at the SPECT Lab Pune.
He has got vast experience in PET CT and SPECT CT imaging and reporting for oncology and non-oncology cases during his training at the Tata memorial hospital, Mumbai. In addition, he pursued additional expertise in Radioiodine therapy (Low dose and High dose) and Radionuclide therapy with Lutetium-177 labelled isotopes for Neuro-endocrine tumours (NET) and Prostate Cancer during his residency in Tata memorial hospital, Mumbai.
All this acquaintance with Nuclear Medicine helps him in applying the principle of Theragnostic for better treatment of rare tumours like NET, and moreover designing studies with therapeutic radionuclides.
